Job summary

Woodforest National Bank seeks a Frontline Banker to engage customers, identify financial needs, and recommend banking solutions. You will deliver the Woodforest Experience through warm, personalized service while meeting branch sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will support digital banking tools, maintain accurate transactions, and participate in community events to strengthen relationships with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant retail sales and/or customer service experience.
• In-store retail banking experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to accept coaching and feedback to improve performance.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or extended hours based on retail branch needs.

Responsibilities

• Take personal responsibility for delivering strong retail performance by identifying customer needs and recommending banking solutions.
• Achieve individual sales goals through proactive conversations, referrals, and marketing outreach both inside and outside the branch.
• Resolve customer inquiries or concerns at the first point of contact, utilizing internal partners as needed.
• Maintain operational excellence through accurate transaction processing, account opening, and adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Explain complex solutions in a simple-to-understand way.
• Deliver the Woodforest Experience by creating warm, welcoming, and personalized interactions with every customer, every day.
• Engage customers in meaningful conversations to understand financial needs and clearly explain products, services, and digital solutions.
• Provide dependable, efficient service while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Embrace a technology-driven customer experience by supporting digital banking tools and platforms.
• Build strong relationships with customers, retail partners, and community members and participate in local marketing efforts.
• Collaborate with branch team members to support community events and promotions aligned with Woodforest’s mission.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards by safeguarding customer confidentiality and complying with policies and guidelines.
• Perform branch servicing duties including teller transactions, cash handling, balancing, vault activities, and audits.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts and consumer loan products with accuracy and compliance.
• Follow branch security procedures and remain vigilant to protect the bank, customers, and team members.
