J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Associate Manager to lead a store team with a focus on profitability, brand loyalty and community engagement. You will coach to maximize performance while stepping into other roles to ensure operational excellence.

You will own divisions such as Visual Merchandising, Operations or Service & Selling, recruit and train staff, partner with the Store Director to exceed goals and deliver best-in-class customer service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time retail management experience.
• Passionately support our brand, customers, and teams.
• Stay up to date with fashion trends and industry developments.
• Embrace teamwork and flexibility while executing tasks.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• Must be available nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Director to maximize profitability with strong brand connections.
• Manage your division (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Oversee store operations, systems and technology with accountability.
• Assist Store Director with recruiting and staff development.
• Partner with the leadership team to build a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure the team consistently exceeds goals and delivers customer service.
• Engage the community and build loyalty through events.
• Step into various sales floor roles as needed.
