Job summary

J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Associate Manager to join its leadership team. You will drive profitability by building genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement while coaching others for peak performance.

You may cover other roles to maintain operational excellence across the store. You will partner with the Store Director, manage your division (merchandising, operations, HR, service & selling), and ensure accountability, teamwork, and top-notch service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time retail management experience.
• Passionately support our brand, customers, and teams.
• Stay up to date with current fashion trends.
• Embrace teamwork, flexibility and courtesy while executing tasks.
• Innovate and champion new ideas while navigating uncertainty.
• Have scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must lift at least 40 pounds (18 kg).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Director to act as a shared business owner and maximize profitability.
• Own your designated division (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Support Store Director with recruiting, training and development efforts.
• Partner with Store Director to create a collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and provides best-in-class customer service.
• Develop innovative ways to engage the community and build loyalty through events.
• Step into various roles on the sales floor when needed.
