Land of Lincoln Goodwill is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to collaborate with the Store Manager on all store operations, including donations processing, sales, staff supervision, and budget management. This role emphasizes ethics, diversity, and growth within a developmental path to a Manager position.

The position requires leadership experience, a HS diploma, a valid license, and flexibility for travel.

Competenze

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or oversight role.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and reliable transportation.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within six months.
• Occasional travel to other stores and job sites.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; payroll/POS systems a plus.
• Ability to work independently while fostering a strong team environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Mansioni

• Oversee store operations in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Direct activities of staff and volunteers to ensure accurate processing of sales and donations.
• Communicate the organization’s mission, values, and diversity commitments.
• Train, coach, and provide feedback to staff for skill development.
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding, scheduling, and performance documentation.
• Support the Store Manager in budgeting and achieving financial targets.
• Maintain safety standards and loss control measures; report concerns promptly.
• Perform bank deposits and cash-handling duties as required.
• Fill in for staff as needed and travel within the LLGI territory for coverage.
