Job summary

Lids Sports Group seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, mentor staff, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will drive sales, uphold brand standards, and ensure operational excellence across training, merchandising, cash handling, and inventory.

As a key leader, you’ll coordinate scheduling, resolve customer issues, and promote loyalty programs while maintaining a welcoming, inclusive store atmosphere that embodies the Lids

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing shrink.
• Excellent verbal communication and professional demeanor.
• Capable of working independently and unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, and escalation handling.
• Lead and train store associates using LIDS training programs and set sales goals.
• Maintain cash controls and ensure accuracy during opening/closing procedures.
• Uphold visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness.
• Support inventory counts, product replenishment, and pricing changes.
• Ensure excellent customer service and promote Lids membership programs.
