Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in its retail operations. The role focuses on leading staff, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining store standards across operations, product and inventory management, and training initiatives.

You will report to the Store Manager and play a key role in driving sales and team performance. The position requires strong leadership, a proactive mindset, and the ability to balance daily store duties with our brand standards

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs and regular follow up when Store Manager is not present.
• Administer the progressive steps of discipline to include verbal and written warning in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Lead, execute and assist Lids selling strategy to achieve KPIs, sales targets, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Resolve customer feedback and address issues in the moment, including customer escalations, urgent requests, and resolve to “make it right” for customers.
• Maintain current visual guidelines, merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
• Open and close the store following the Operations P&P Manual.
