Pawn King Corp is looking for an Assistant Store Manager in Peoria to lead the team, coach employees, and drive store performance while building strong customer relationships and profitability. The role involves working with a diverse range of merchandise including jewelry, electronics, tools, and more.

You’ll support daily operations, develop team members, deliver outstanding service, and help achieve business goals with a hands-on leadership approach.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with HS diploma or GED.
• Experience in leadership or supervisory roles preferred.
• Comfortable with physical tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work flexible retail schedule, including weekends/holidays.
• Bilingual applicants encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns.
• Coach, train, and develop team members to meet company standards.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
• Help drive store sales, profitability, and performance goals.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection initiatives.
• Open and close the store, including cash handling and operational procedures.
• Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Maintain attractive merchandising and store presentation standards.
• Analyze performance metrics and support the achievement of business objectives.
• Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories.
