Cash America Pawn in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to help lead our team. You will coach employees, drive store performance, build customer relationships, and develop your leadership skills in a fast paced retail environment.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll partner with the Store Manager to support daily operations, deliver exceptional service, recruit and develop staff, manage inventory, and help drive sales and profitability across our merchandise

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with HS diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in retail leadership or supervisory roles.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and act as MOD when needed.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve concerns.
• Coach, train and develop team members to standards.
• Assist with recruiting and retaining top talent.
• Drive store sales, profitability and performance goals.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection.
• Open/close the store and handle cash.
• Monitor loans and buying transactions for accuracy.
• Maintain merchandising and store presentation.
• Analyze performance metrics to meet business objectives.
• Build product knowledge across merchandise categories.
