FirstCash is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in the United States to support daily store operations, lead a team, recruit and develop staff, and drive sales while maintaining customer satisfaction.

The role offers hourly pay with a commission plan based on productivity and store performance. Candidates should be able to handle cash, inventory, and diverse merchandise in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Assistant Store Managers will work 40+ hours a week.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through prescribed channels.
• Opens and closes the store, counts cash drawers, and ensures procedures protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and secure loans.
• Administer processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, and reporting.
• Evaluate store financial statements to drive profitability.
• Ensure operating standards meet FirstCash standards.
• Monitor loan qualifications and buying processes to maintain value of loans issued.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development.
• Communicate clearly with employees about mission and profit objectives.
• Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
• Act as manager on duty in absence of Store Manager.
• Other related duties as assigned.
