J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the leadership team. You will drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement. You’ll coach the sales team and adapt strategies with the wider leadership group to ensure smooth operations.

You will oversee designated divisions, manage systems and processes, and recruit and train staff as needed. The role emphasizes customer service excellence and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience.

• Own your division: Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling.
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development when needed.
• Collaborate with leadership to create a collaborative working environment.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to boost associate capability.
• Engage the community and build loyalty through events.
• Step into various roles on the sales floor when needed.
