Job summary

Banana Republic in Arlington, VA is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone, lead the team, and bring the brand to life for customers. You will drive profitable sales growth through customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development, collaborating with the General Manager to deliver a best-in-class experience.

You will coach Leads and Brand Associates, manage assigned area, ensure SOPs, and stay ahead of retail trends.

Qualifications

1–3 years of retail management experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication with customers and team.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Driven by metrics to hit business goals.
Willing to work a flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

Support strategies and processes to drive store sales and deliver results through a customer centric mindset.
Recruit, hire and develop highly productive Brand Associate and Expert teams.
Own assigned area of responsibility.
Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
Perform Service Leader duties.
Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
Represent the brand and understand the competition and retail landscape.
Promote community involvement.
Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
Ensure all compliance standards are met.
