Job summary

White House Black Market in Allen, TX is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading the team and delivering a seamless, customer-centered experience. This role helps foster a welcoming environment for associates and customers that reflects our culture of hospitality.

You will hire, develop, and coach associates, manage inventory, and uphold brand standards while building community connections through in-store events and philanthropy.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability — nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead a team and foster a customer-centric environment.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership to achieve the financial goals of the store and motivate the team.
• Assist in the hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Take ownership to ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory management, daily replenishment of floor merchandise, and execution of inventories.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.
