Job summary

White House Black Market in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading the team and delivering a seamless, customer‑centered experience. You will help recruit and coach associates, share product knowledge, and maintain brand standards on the sales floor.

You will own daily operations from inventory replenishment to loss prevention, and contribute to achieving store financial goals.

Qualifications

• 3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability—nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and coach a store team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Assist the Store Manager in hiring and coaching associates.
• Share product knowledge and use an omni-channel approach on the sales floor.
• Maintain brand standards and visually inspiring store environment.
• Own daily store operations: inventory, replenishment, and inventories.
