Job summary

WHBM Outlet in Allen, TX is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in leading the team and delivering a seamless, personalized customer experience. You will help foster a welcoming environment and uphold our culture of hospitality on the sales floor.

The role focuses on developing associates, driving sales, maintaining inventory accuracy, and building community connections through in-store events and brand initiatives while ensuring compliance and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 3 years retail management experience preferred.
• Flexible availability—including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• A team player mindset with a high level of ownership and initiative.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and develop a team to deliver a customer-centered experience.
• Take ownership to achieve the financial goals of the store and motivate the team.
• Assist in the hiring, development, and coaching of associates.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Take ownership to ensure safe and efficient store operations including inventory management, daily replenishment of floor merchandise, and execution of inventories.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Build community connections through in-store company-sponsored events, philanthropy, and other initiatives.
