J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our store leadership and drive profitability through genuine customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement. You will coach the sales team and collaborate with leadership to adapt strategies for success and ensure smooth operations.

You’ll oversee divisions, support recruiting and training, and partner with leadership to create a collaborative environment. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail management experience with a similar scope.
• Passionately support our brand, customers, and teams.
• Stay up to date with current fashion trends and industry developments.
• Embrace teamwork, flexibility, and courtesy while executing tasks.
• Scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must bend, reach, stretch for product and lift/move at least 40 pounds (18 kg).

Responsabilités

• Support the Store Director & Associate Store Manager to impact business results.
• Own your division (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training, and development when needed.
• Foster a collaborative environment among associates.
• Lead sessions to boost product knowledge and customer connections.
• Develop engaging community events to build loyalty.
• Step into various roles on the sales floor as needed.
