J.Crew is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the leadership team. You’ll drive profitability through customer connections, brand loyalty, and community engagement, while coaching the sales team and supporting store operations.

You’ll oversee divisions, assist with recruiting and training, and collaborate with store leadership to ensure exceptional service and achievement of goals. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

• 1–2 years of retail management experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director and ASM to drive profitability with a meaningful connection to every aspect of the brand.
• Own division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development when needed.
• Partner with Store Director to curate a collaborative working environment for all associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and provides best-in-class customer service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to elevate authentic customer connection.
• Develop innovative ways to engage the community and build loyalty through events.
• Step into a variety of roles on the sales floor as needed.
