Job summary

J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our leadership team. You will drive profitability through strong customer connections, brand loyalty, and seamless store operations.

You will coach sales associates, manage one of the store's divisions, participate in recruiting and training, and help deliver best-in-class service. Availability includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience required.
• Scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to bend, reach, stretch, and lift at least 40 pounds (18 kg).

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director and Associate Store Manager to impact business results and brand profitability.
• Own your division of responsibility (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems, and technology with accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development efforts as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership to create a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Ensure the team consistently exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class customer service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to boost authentic customer connections.
• Develop community engagement and loyalty through store events.
• Flexibly cover various sales floor roles as needed.
