Job summary

Rack Room Shoes is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager in all daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will lead, train, and guide staff while stepping in for the Store Manager when needed to maintain sales, service and operational goals.

You will also direct customer service, POS procedures, inventory controls, merchandising, payroll, training and loss prevention to ensure a smooth, compliant, and profitable store operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in day-to-day store operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide leadership, guidance and training to staff; assume full responsibility in the Store Manager's absence.
• Create an excellent customer shopping experience and uphold service level standards.
