Perry Ellis International is seeking an Assistant Manager to help organize and run our retail stores, filling in for the Store Manager when needed. You will ensure the sales team meets goals, drive efficiency, and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction by replenishing stock, executing promotions, and mentoring associates.

Responsibilities include overseeing operations, merchandising, staffing, and loss prevention, while aligning with company directives.

Formación

• Ability to perform effective selling techniques.
• Energetic and positive attitude.
• 2+ years of retail management experience.
• Strong verbal and written skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Customer service oriented - outgoing, friendly and personable.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time on the sales floor.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 25 pounds.
• High school degree required.

Responsabilidades

• Function as a role model for customer focus and address complaints as needed.
• Achieve excellent scores on secret shopper reports.
• Promote merchandise and demonstrate product knowledge to customers.
• Share store vision and execute strategies aligned with corporate initiatives.
• Support store financial objectives: sales, comparable store performance, and shrinkage.
• Analyze business reports and develop plans to maximize sales performance.
• Prioritize workflow with planning and time management.
• Support appropriate staffing levels based on trends and payroll guidelines.
• Comply with company policies and operations and maintain clean store conditions.
• Assist Store Manager with maintaining store appearance and addressing issues.
• Identify problems, propose solutions, and involve the Store Manager.
• Convey company expectations and communicate loss-prevention occurrences.
• Support audits of store processes and motivate staff.
• Execute pricing strategies and oversee replenishment of merchandising.
• Monitor inventory levels and balance stock across stores.
