Job summary

Perry Ellis International is seeking an Assistant Manager to help organize and run our retail stores when the Store Manager is unavailable. You will help ensure replenishment, execute promotions, and support hiring, training, and inventory control to meet company directives.

You will lead sales staff, deliver excellent customer service, monitor performance, and help maintain store appearance and compliance with policies. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Experience running a retail team and achieving sales targets.
• Strong customer service focus and product knowledge.
• Effective communication with associates and management.

Responsibilities

• Achieves excellent scores on secret shopper reports.
• Promotes merchandise and demonstrates product knowledge to customers and assists them with any requests.
• Shares vision and plans execution of store strategy in alignment with corporate and district initiatives.
• Supports store financial objectives in sales goals, comp store increases, and shrinkage control.
• Analyze business reports to maximize sales performance.
• Supports staffing plans and ensures policy compliance and loss prevention awareness.
