Old Navy is seeking an Assistant Manager who sets the tone for the store and leads the team to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. You’ll drive profitable sales growth across customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development, while executing the store strategy to meet performance goals.

Together with the General Manager, you’ll coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates, implement action plans to maximize efficiency, and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail management experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and team to meet goals.
• Passion for retail and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Metrics-driven to deliver business results.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends.
• Able to use retail technology.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and move around store.
• Willing to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies and processes to drive store sales and deliver results through a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand the competition and retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
