The role emphasizes knowledge of store departments, policy adherence, and promoting merchandise. The Assistant Manager will assume Store Manager responsibilities in their absence and contribute to achieving sales and operational goals, while providing superior service to customers in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, preferably footwear/apparel.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assist in managing a team and meet store goals.
• Self-starter with initiative; can handle multiple tasks with precision.
• Team-player with a focus on outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in controlling store assets.
• Contribute to selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering and scheduling decisions.
• Serve as acting Store Manager in the Manager's absence.
• Support personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers across departments.
• Monitor inventory movement, sales statistics and expenses to support profitability.
