Job summary

J.Crew Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our leadership team in Exton, PA. You will drive profitability through strong customer connections, brand loyalty and community engagement, while coaching the sales team to maximize performance.

You will collaborate with the Store Director and Associate Store Manager to adapt strategies for business success and provide smooth operational support as needed. This role requires visible ownership of store performance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience in a similar scope.
• Passionately support our brand, customers, and teams.
• Stay up to date with fashion trends and industry developments.
• Scheduling flexibility, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift at least 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Director & Associate Store Manager to impact business results and profitability.
• Own designated division (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Assist with recruiting, training and development efforts as needed.
• Partner to create a collaborative working environment for associates.
• Ensure the team exceeds goals and delivers best-in-class service.
• Lead product knowledge sessions to elevate customer connections.
