Job summary

Old Navy is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone, drive profitable sales, and coach a high‑performing team. You will partner with the General Manager to lead customer operations, merchandising, and talent development to deliver a best-in-class experience for our customers.

You will recruit and develop Brand Associates and Experts, own areas of responsibility, and execute action plans to maximize efficiency while ensuring compliance with SOPs and brand standards.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail management experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and team.
• Passionate about retail and fast-paced environments.
• Metrics-driven to meet business goals.
• Ability to lead, coach and mentor teammates.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies to drive store sales and deliver results.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of SOPs.
• Represent the brand and understand retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
