Gap Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager for Old Navy to lead store operations and energize the customer experience. You will drive profitable sales, oversee merchandising and talent development, and coach teams toward delivering a best-in-class shopping environment.

You will partner with the General Manager to execute store strategy, mentor Leads and Brand Associates, and promote a high-performing, inclusive team culture across a busy retail floor.

Qualifications

• Current or former retail employee with 1-3 years of retail management experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Effective communication with customers and team to meet goals.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Driven by metrics to deliver results.
• Flexibility to work holidays, evenings, overnights and weekends.
• Able to utilize retail technology.
• Able to move around the sales floor, stockroom and office and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies and processes to drive store sales and deliver results through a customer centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop highly productive Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand the competition and retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
