Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to help manage a team and meet store goals and profits.
• Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling assets for Hibbett I City Gear.
• Consult with the Store Manager to establish action plans for selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Assume store responsibility in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Oversee staffing, training, and evaluation of personnel.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to staff and customers across departments.
• Ensure inventory movement and customer trends are communicated to the Store Manager.
