J.Crew Group (JCG) is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our retail leadership team in a fast-paced store. You will drive profitability through authentic customer connections, brand loyalty, and strong community engagement while coaching the sales team for peak performance.

Collaborating with the Store Director and leadership team, you will recruit, train, and develop staff, manage store operations and systems, and ensure best-in-class service.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail management experience or equivalent.
• Passion for brand, customers and teams, with fashion sense.
• Ability to adapt to busy store environments and showcase flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Director and Associate Store Manager to improve profitability.
• Own designated areas (Visual Merchandising, Operations, HR, Service & Selling).
• Manage store operations, systems and ensure accountability.
• Assist with recruiting, training and development as needed.
• Foster a collaborative working environment and exceed goals.
