Macy’s is seeking an Asset Protection Detective to help protect company assets, reduce shortage, and maintain a safe, customer-focused store environment. You will use surveillance, investigative tools, and partnerships with store teams and law enforcement to identify and respond to theft, recover merchandise, and safeguard customers and colleagues.

Formación

• Ability to observe, identify, and respond to suspicious activity in a retail environment.
• Strong communication skills with customers, colleagues, leaders, and law enforcement.
• Ability to use sound judgment, de-escalation tools, and company procedures to support a safe environment.
• Ability to handle proprietary, sensitive information with discretion and integrity.

Responsabilidades

• Use surveillance techniques and reporting systems to identify theft and shortage trends.
• Partner with store teams, Asset Protection leaders, and law enforcement to support investigations.
• Prepare documentation, statements, and evidence to support investigations and legal proceedings.
• Assist in protecting customers, colleagues, and assets while complying with policies and legal standards.
• Testify in court for criminal and civil cases, as needed.
