Qualifications

• Ability to observe and respond to suspicious activity in a retail environment.
• Strong communication skills with customers, colleagues, leaders, and law enforcement.
• Ability to use sound judgment and de-escalation techniques to ensure safety.
• Discretion handling confidential information with integrity.
• New York State Security Guard License is required if located in NY.

Responsibilities

• Identify theft, dishonesty, and shortage trends using surveillance and investigations.
• Collaborate with store leadership and law enforcement to support investigations.
• Prepare clear documentation and evidence for investigations, audits, and legal proceedings.
• Train colleagues on asset protection protocols and shortage reduction.
• Maintain compliance with policies and legal standards during apprehensions and investigations.
