Job summary

Airgas, Inc. is seeking an Area Branch Operations Manager in Clinton Twp, MI to lead field operations across multiple retail locations. You will supervise branch managers, ensure safety and compliance, and drive sales growth through strategic pricing and customer relationship management.

The role emphasizes audits, SOP training, and collaboration with AVP/DM to align KPIs and budgets for overall branch performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• 5+ years in branch retail sales or branch/production ops.
• Experience supporting multiple locations and leading teams.
• Prior SAP experience and strong Google Suite skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement Safety & Security rules and guidelines.
• Guide staff to maintain safety and security standards.
• Collaborate with branch managers to drive retail sales and operations.
• Conduct operational audits and SOP trainings for location teams.
• Track branch performance and report to AVP/DM.
• Develop sales strategies and partner with sales teams.
• Build long-term customer relationships with key accounts.
• Design pricing guidelines to improve market presence.
