Job summary

Airgas is seeking an Area Branch Operations Manager in Clinton Twp, MI to partner with branch managers across retail locations. You will help advance retail sales, oversee local distribution operations, and serve as an expert resource to foster operational excellence, safety, and compliance across your area.

Most of your time will be spent in the field with branch managers and location audits. The role requires strong leadership, field presence, and ability to train staff while performing audits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of branch retail sales or operations experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend SOPs and manuals.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement Safety & Security rules and guidelines.
• Guide staff in maintaining safety and SOP adherence.
• Develop sales and promotional strategies to drive growth.
• Conduct operational audits and share insights with leadership.
• Collaborate with branch managers to support operations and audits.
• Monitor budgets, P&L, and KPI tracking to advance branch performance.
