Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an Area Leader to drive engagement and performance across a span of care. You will coach Leads and Team Leaders, own budget line items, and lead safety and operations initiatives to maximize sales and productivity.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 4+ years in retail or customer service, and strong analytical and leadership abilities to foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee area operations and financial results, ensuring sales and productivity targets are met.
• Direct Leads and Team Leaders; provide coaching, recognition and feedback.
• Drive onboarding, training and development for staff within the span of care.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, forecasting, and vendor relations.
• Identify process improvements and uphold Meijer standards and culture.
