Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail management or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of ATF compliance requirements and firearms sales regulations (preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must meet all federal and state requirements for handling firearms and ammunition.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in managing store operations, including staffing, merchandising, sales, loss prevention, and customer service.
• Act as a leader and coach for staff, ensuring high standards of performance, professionalism, and compliance.
• Assist in maintaining ATF compliance by supporting Form 4473s, background checks, acquisition & disposition records, and other required documentation.
• Partner with compliance staff or the GM to prepare for ATF inspections and internal audits.
• Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures regarding firearms and ammunition handling, storage, and sales.
• Ensure all employees are trained on relevant ATF regulations, company compliance protocols, and safe handling practices.
• Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts, reconciliations, and reporting discrepancies.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management of team members.
• Resolve escalated customer issues promptly and professionally.
• Act as manager-on-duty in the absence of the General Manager.
