Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work Sundays.
• At least 2 years of prior retail supervisory or managerial experience.
• Knowledge about Hunting, Fishing, or Shooting sports preferred.
• Legally eligible to work in a firearm environment.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Certificate of Eligibility Required.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Time-off requests may be restricted during black-out periods.

Responsibilities

• Manages a staff of hourly employees.
• Provides excellent customer service and ensures a high-value shopping experience.
• Meets budgeted sales by setting daily/weekly/monthly goals while managing labor costs and shrinkage.
• Advertises and promotes Turner’s Outdoorsman products and events.
• Schedules employee shifts and breaks in compliance with laws.
• Trains, motivates, and develops employees.
• Assists in store operations including cash handling, inventory, and firearm paperwork compliance.
• Oversees coverage during manager absence and assists as needed.
• Occasional travel for events or openings when required.
