Job summary

Bass Pro Outdoor World is seeking a Retail Manager - Firearms to supervise the firearms department, ensuring ATF and state compliance, inventory control, and exceptional customer service. The role involves staff development, merchandising, pricing, and adherence to policies while delivering a legendary customer experience.

You will lead safety standards, drive sales plans, and manage scheduling and coaching to maintain a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3–5 years in Retail Management with firearms handling experience.
• ID firearms and ammunition; knowledge of classifications and operation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise firearms department and ensure compliance with ATF, state, and federal laws.
• Lead staff selection, training, and performance evaluations.
• Maintain merchandise presentation, pricing, and inventory control.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and promote loyalty programs.
• Open/close store and manage keys and alarm codes.
• Coach and motivate associates to foster a productive, service-driven environment.
