Job summary

Midwest Shooting Center in Wheeling, WV is hiring an Assistant General Manager for the Purchasing department. You’ll lead all inventory control, pricing discipline, and compliance-related operations while serving as a Manager on Duty.

This role safeguards company assets, maintains accurate inventory records, and ensures firearm and operational compliance standards are followed. You’ll also lead a floor team and support sales execution and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, purchasing, or operations.
• Detail-oriented with a disciplined, process-driven mindset.
• Knowledge of firearms compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to enforce standards and hold others accountable.
• Organized, analytical, and proactive in risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead all inventory intake, receiving, and reconciliation processes.
• Set and maintain retail pricing standards to protect margin and profitability.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, accountability, and shrink prevention.
• Manage replenishment requests and coordinate purchasing activity.
• Conduct weekly audits to confirm compliance, safety, and financial accuracy.
• Maintain strong compliance with ATF, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
• Ensure accurate completion of firearm transactions, including FFL transfers and ATF Form 4473s.
• Train, coach, and hold associates accountable for inventory control and compliance standards.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed, supporting the overall operation and guest experience
