Midwest Shooting Center in Wheeling, WV is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations of the retail store and range floor. You will drive revenue growth, maintain safety standards, and ensure guests have a professional, engaging experience.

You’ll oversee inventory, pricing, staff training, and performance management, building a high-performing team. The role requires strong organizational skills, a proactive leadership style, and a deep commitment to compliance and customer

Qualifications

Experience in retail operations and inventory management.
Knowledge of firearms compliance and range safety standards.
Proactive leader able to motivate and develop staff.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage staff performance and enforce policies.

Responsibilities

Lead retail and range operations to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
Oversee inventory intake, pricing, replenishment, and accuracy.
Ensure compliance with ATF, OSHA, and internal safety standards through audits.
Train and coach retail staff on service standards, product knowledge, and safety.
Manage firearm transactions, including FFL transfers and 4473 forms.
Monitor pricing, margins, and replenishment timing.
Partner with Guest Services to promote memberships and training opportunities.
Serve as Manager on Duty as needed.
