Job summary

Midwest Shooting Center is seeking an Assistant General Manager – Purchasing to oversee inventory control, pricing discipline, and compliance on the sales floor. You will lead all purchasing activity, safeguard assets, and ensure accurate records while serving as MOD to support guest experience and operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, purchasing, or operations.
• Excellent attention to detail and process-driven mindset.
• Knowledge of firearms compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to enforce standards and hold others accountable.
• Organized, analytical, and proactive in risk management.
• Able to lead operational teams while supporting floor execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead all inventory intake, receiving, and reconciliation processes.
• Set and maintain retail pricing standards to protect margin and profitability.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, accountability, and shrink prevention.
• Manage replenishment requests and coordinate purchasing activity.
• Conduct weekly audits to confirm compliance, safety, and financial accuracy.
• Maintain strong compliance with ATF, OSHA, and internal safety standards.
• Ensure accurate completion of firearm transactions, including FFL transfers and ATF Form 4473s.
• Train, coach, and hold associates accountable for inventory control and compliance standards.
• Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed, supporting the overall operation and guest experience.
