Job summary

Toast is expanding into new verticals and seeks a Retail Account Executive to join a founding team transforming how convenience stores, grocery stores, and bottle shops operate. You will prospect, build relationships, conduct product demos, and close new accounts in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Using a consultative approach, you will tailor solutions to each prospect’s needs, partner with cross-functional teams, and leverage Salesforce to manage the sales cycle from initial contact

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills with ability to sell and negotiate at all decision levels.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding goals in sales.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, team environment.

• Willingness to travel 25% or more and reside in or near the assigned market.

Responsibilities

• Use a consultative approach to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new convenience stores, grocery stores and bottle shops.
• Generate lists of prospects and manage the full sales cycle from initial call to close.
• Conduct demos and develop tailored solutions to meet prospect needs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery meets sales expectations.
• Leverage Salesforce to manage all sales activities.
• Understand competitive landscape and position Toast effectively in the market.
