Qualifications

• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
• Completion of a CNA training program and at least 40 hours of restorative care training.
• Annual competency testing and continuing education credits.
• May classify as Sanford Category II Driver with DMV check and license.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Apply mobility, balance and strengthening exercises and use adaptive equipment.
• Document progress in EMR and report changes promptly.
• Maintain infection prevention and PPE usage according to guidelines.
