Good Samaritan in Canistota, SD is seeking a compassionate Restorative Nursing Aide (CNA) to join our long-term care team. Under RN supervision, you will provide resident-centered daily living assistance, perform mobility and positioning activities, and support rehabilitation programs to maintain independence.

This full-time, day-shift role offers a 32-hour weekly schedule, a competitive hourly wage of $18.50–$25.50 plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus, and a robust benefits package.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing; completion of a CNA training program as required by state.
• Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year.
• Dependent on facility and required responsibilities, this role may classify as a Sanford Category II Driver requiring a motor vehicle report and proof of valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned resident under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
• Knowledge of and delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident as per care plan.
• Proactively documents resident's progress and reports changes in condition promptly.
• Follows infection prevention and control policies and uses PPE as required.
