Good Samaritan is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for day shift in Canistota, SD. The role includes direct resident care, basic mobility routines, and support under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Required CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing.
• Completion of a CNA training program and at least 40 hours of restorative care training.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Demonstrate mobility, balance, and strengthening exercises; use adaptive equipment and proper body mechanics.
• Document resident progress and report changes promptly; use EMR accurately.
