Good Samaritan is seeking a Restorative Nursing Aide to provide resident-centered care in a Canistota, SD long-term care setting. You will assist residents with daily living activities, mobility and rehabilitation exercises under RN supervision.

The role requires CNA certification, high school diploma or GED, and adherence to infection control policies. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, education support, and daily access to earnings for eligible full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Required CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing; completion of CNA training as required by state; at least 40 hours of restorative care training.
• Satisfactorily completes yearly department-specific competency testing and maintains continuing education credits.

Responsabilités

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision during scheduled shifts.
• Document progress and report changes in resident condition promptly.
• Assist with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, eating, and mobility; follow infection prevention guidelines.
