Job summary

PAR Technology Corporation is seeking a Manager, Sales Engineering to partner with Sales across Channel, SMB, and Major Accounts. You will run live demos, map customer goals to offerings, and own the technical trial from start to finish.

The role requires 4+ years in sales engineering or restaurant technology, experience with POS software, and strong communication. Willingness to travel up to 50% is essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in sales engineering or restaurant technology operations.
• Experience with POS and restaurant management software for the QSR or table-service industry is required.
• Ability to explain complex technology to key stakeholders in plain language.
• Self-starter instincts, strong project management, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to travel up to 50% in role.

Responsibilities

• Run live demos, remote or in person, built around what each prospect actually needs.
• Understand a customer’s goals, then map their requirements to our current and future offerings.
• Work out the technical requirements and equipment behind a great guest experience.
• Design around the operation and help shape menu design to fit how the customer runs.
• Act as Technical Account Manager through the trial, owning every technical detail.
• Be the customer’s go-to from the first call through the pilot.
