HMSHost is seeking a Manager I to support branch management in executing QSR or similar restaurant operations. The role ensures the restaurant is clean, ready for business, staffed, and operates to high standards.

The Manager I uses policies to make decisions and supervise associates within the unit. Minimum qualifications include at least 2 years in food and beverage, 6 months supervisory experience, and strong communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service experience.
• Minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
• Assists management in supervising day-to-day activities of associates across units.
• Participates in interviewing, hiring input, and recommendations for promotions or status changes.
• Assigns work tasks, prepares schedules, and ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures rest breaks and meal periods are observed by all associates.
• Maintains cleanliness and visual appeal of display areas and ensures equipment is in good working order.
• Operates cash register and follows cash handling policies with proper security.
• Monitors wellness and safety procedures and reports safety concerns to management.
• Performs Health and Safety activities per policy and health guidelines.
• Places orders, receives goods, processes invoices, and maintains contact information for associates.
