Job summary

HMSHost in Morrisville, NC is seeking a Manager I to support branch management in QSR-style restaurant operations. You will ensure the restaurant runs smoothly, is clean, staffed, and prepared for service while following company policies.

The role requires 2+ years F&B experience, 6 months supervisory experience, strong customer service, cash handling, and the ability to work varied shifts. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years food & beverage, cash handling and customer service experience.
• Minimum of 6 months supervisory or lead experience in a restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, speak and comprehend instructions, and follow policies.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including openings, busy parts and closings.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists per policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within unit or group of restaurants.
• Participates in interviewing and makes input on hiring, promotions, terminations to GM.
• Assigns work tasks, prepares schedules, ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures rest breaks and meal periods are taken by all associates.
• Keeps display areas clean, stocked, and visually appealing; ensures equipment works.
• Operates cash register and processes transactions per cash handling policies.
• Monitors wellness and safety compliance and reports safety concerns to GM.
• Understands Health and Safety activities per Manager's Guide to Associate Health and Safety.
• Places orders, receives goods, processes invoices; maintains contact info for associates.
