Job summary

IHOP in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time Crew Chief to lead a high-performing restaurant team. You will help prepare staff, assign duties, promote teamwork, and ensure clear communication about menus, specials, and service standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will train new hires, supervise performance, monitor time cards, adjust schedules, enforce SOPs, and handle cash deposits. Strong English, good communication, basic math, and composure under pressure are required;

• Ability to speak and read English.
• Good communication skills.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Relevant experience is preferred but not required!

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and readiness of personnel, equipment, and supplies to meet business needs.
• Assign employee duties and promote teamwork for a collaborative environment.
• Keep team informed about new menu items, specials, and promotional materials to ensure clear understanding of food preparation and service.
• Monitor time cards and adjust schedules to meet restaurant needs and minimize overtime.
• Enforce portion control and maintain security protocols; handle cash receipts and daily deposits.
