IHOP Austin is seeking a results-driven Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations on a full-time basis. The role involves overseeing the shift, making decisions, supporting staff, and ensuring friendly guest interactions while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety.

You'll manage staffing, interviews, training, and performance feedback, sign off on discounts, and produce shift reports and inventory orders to keep the unit running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire operation during scheduled shifts.
• Make daily decisions and provide support to staff.
• Ensure positive guest interactions and uphold standards of quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Provide employees with feedback for development and ensure adherence to uniform standards.
• Perform line checks for weights, temperatures, cleanliness, and organization.
• Staff the unit by interviewing, hiring, and training hourly candidates; conduct orientations.
• Prepare end-of-shift reports (Daily Sales, Daily Cash Interims, Daily Labor).
• Prepare food production checklists and implement recipes; order food and supplies as needed.
• Identify operational opportunities and implement plans; approve food/beverage discounts; ensure safety.
