Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Manager II to assist Branch management in executing complex QSR or Casual Dine operations. The role ensures the restaurant is clean, staffed, and runs to high standards, using prescribed policies to guide decisions.

You will support interviewing, scheduling, training, and safety compliance, with rotating shifts across opening, busy periods, and closing. Minimum supervisory experience and strong customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in food and beverage, cash handling, and customer service.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory or lead experience in a Casual Dine restaurant or production kitchen.
• Ability to read, understand instructions and policy documents, and converse with customers.

Responsibilities

• Completes opening, daily and closing procedures per policies.
• Supervises day-to-day activities of associates within unit.
• Ensures compliance with all alcohol policies and AB procedures.
• Participates in hiring process and makes recommendations to GM.
• Assigns tasks, prepares schedules and ensures shifts are covered.
• Ensures mandated rest breaks and meal periods are taken.
• Maintains clean, stocked, visually appealing display areas.
• Ensures equipment is in good working order and cash handling is secure.
• Monitors wellness and safety procedures and reports concerns.
• Performs Health and Safety activities as specified in guidelines.
• Places orders, receives goods, processes invoices.
• Maintains current contact information for all associates.
