Valor Hospitality Partners seeks a Restaurant Shift Supervisor at The Harpeth in Franklin, TN. You will supervise the restaurant shift, coordinate with kitchen staff, and ensure quality service while meeting financial goals.

You will lead associates, hire and train, implement promotions, monitor compliance, and uphold sanitation standards to protect assets and guest satisfaction. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Two to four year college degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum of two-year experience in the food and beverage industry.
• Requires basic knowledge of restaurant operations.
• Possess excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
• Ability to delegate, manage manpower and establish priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the shift’s operations in the restaurant and liaise with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Supervise the restaurant associates; interview, hire, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel, and conduct reviews.
• Create and implement promotions and buffet presentations to capture more guests and market share.
• Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations and safety standards.
• Monitor bar profitability and portion control; manage revenue integrity.
• Maintain sanitation, equipment upkeep and asset protection; ensure quality service.
• Respond to guest needs and feedback to ensure a quality experience and future sales prospects.
• Update cash management and generate reports for restaurant administration.
• May serve as manager on duty and handle special projects.
